RA Psychology Ltd was started in 2012 by Dr Rob Agnew, Clinical Psychologist. Rob qualified in clinical psychology in 2008 from University College London. Since then he has worked across all three sectors in clinical, consultant and managerial roles. Having designed specialist services from scratch Rob has a well developed understanding of the needs of clients and organisations. He has developed specialist skills in in-patient and community settings with children, adolescents and adults. Rob has worked in over 30 services in forensics, neurorehabilitation/neurology/brain injury and autism and learning disability. Having worked in a number of national and private international services Rob has refined his skills in complex differential diagnosis and integrating treatment approaches.
In addition to clinical work Rob also undertakes expert witness casework. Having completed specialist training in personality, psychopathy and autism assessment Rob provides expert witness evidence to solicitors and the Courts for criminal and civil cases. Rob has undertaken specialist training in the writing of expert witness reports and cross-examination. He considers cases funded by Legal Aid but has also worked on a number of high profile, high net-worth cases with high level of involvement funded privately.
Rob is an associate fellow of the British Psychological Society, chartered scientist, chartered clinical psychologist, HCPC registered practitioner psychologist and BABICM approved professional. He has appeared in the media commenting on issues related to mental health and the NHS, and is on the BBC's rosta of experts.
